Damage Control Dance Theater
Damage Control Dance Theater, the revolutionary dance theater company, is destroying the boundaries between fine art, folklore, and funk.
Based in San Francisco, DCDT is Cera, Charlotte, Dominique, and Najla.
DCDT Director Cera holds the title of Tribal Throwdown Champion 2007, and DCDT debuted their first piece, Oxum Suite, to a sold out crowd at Nouveau Nights, San Francisco's Ultimate Bellydance Afterparty.
In their first year, DCDT performed in venues ranging from the Oakland Metro, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Cowell Theater, and San Francisco Concourse Exhibition Center.
Cera & DCDT have offered workshops at Bellydance Festivals and Intensives such as SF Mecca Immersion, Bellydance Fantasy Festival, and soon at France’s first Fusion Bellydance festival, BellyFusions.
