Registration for workshops is still open. - 12/21/09The Breakthrough Fusion Competition is the first-ever competition of its kind in the bellydance community.
This is a FUSION-ONLY competition - That’s right... No traditional Middle Eastern categories. No traditional music. No ATS! This is about innovation and the future of the art.
Also a first: our panel of respected judges give critique “American Idol” style... on stage, on mic, immediately after the performer finishes. No waiting to receive your score cards in the mail, no confusion in the audience about what the judges might be thinking.
This year we’re expanding the BFC, adding a day of Workshops + a slumber party on Saturday, January 2nd, in addition to the Competition & Show on Sunday, January 3rd.
