The Breakthrough Fusion Competition is the first-ever competition of its kind in the bellydance community. This is a FUSION-ONLY competition - That’s right... No traditional Middle Eastern categories. No traditional music. No ATS! This is about innovation and the future of the art. Also a first: our panel of respected judges will be giving critique “American Idol” style... on stage, on mic, immediately after the performer finishes. No waiting to receive your score cards in the mail, no confusion in the audience about what the judges might be thinking.

This Competition features only 2 categories:
Breakthrough Fusion Artist of the Year (for Soloists)
Breakthrough Fusion Group of the Year (for groups)

There will also be a people’s choice award.
